ABOUT
Last Chance K9 Training was started in hopes to limit dogs being surrendered to our local shelters or being rehomed by teaching every day dog owners how to handle and understand their canine companions.
We believe in balanced training meaning there is use of positive reinforcement as well as structure, and corrections using various tools. Each dog we meet and assess has a different training plan put in place.
We truly believe that every dog deserves the chance to be their very best and we're here to advocate and help owners who are struggling. Whether it be basic obedience or major behavioral modification.
Our trainer, Tristin, has worked in various animal fields and been heavily involved in the rescue community for several years meeting, assessing, training, and adopting out dogs of various breeds and temperaments.
We also offer basic pet sitting such as walks, drop-in visits, and occasional boarding.
TEAM

Tristin Begley
Head Trainer
As many dog trainers I came into the training world when i adopted my first aggressive dog several years ago. Many other trainers suggested euthanasia and I just couldn't hear it. Thankfully I worked and shadowed several trainers, did heavy research, educated myself, and kept my dog. Since then, I heavily involved myself in the behavioral dogs in the Stark and Summit county areas. I specialize in human and dog reactivity, but also in basic obedience. When working with me, I ensure we always move at the owner and the dogs pace to make sure you feel we're working as a team.
